Whilst at MIX09, I spent some quality time with Jeremy Cath. Jeremy is an Evangelist over at Microsoft Corp is plays a heavy hand on the partners and demos that you see during the MIX keynote. He details his efforts this year over on his blog.
A Microformats Toolkit is for web developers, designers and users, making it easier to create, consume, and style Microformats. In short, Oomph makes consuming and producing content for the web just a little easier, more efficient, more fun.
You should definitely go and give Ooomph a go as it’s a great implementation of Microformats consumption. And to top it off, it’s written on top of the tres cool jQuery.
Ohh, and in case you didn’t know, Tim and Karsten are also the creators of the famous Flotzam.
I had the privilege of bringing August out for Web Directions South this year. And I couldn’t let him go without sticking a camera in his face and being obnoxious.
To everyone at Web Directions South 08, I hope you got as much out of August’s talk as I have.
August, thanks so much for being awesome and spending time with us.
While at MIX08 I got to catch up with one of my favourite evangelists, Asli Bilgin. We chat women in tech and and the art of drawing on napkins (which coincidentally was talked about @ mix in an unrelated session)
