I feel like such a parent today

A small sample of some of the concerts that I’ve been to in my life.

  • April 1989 – Bon Jovi – the first major concert that I remember
  • May 1992 – Red Hot Chili Peppers – #1 on my most memorable concert list
  • January 1993 – Guns N’ Roses – pure concert disappointment!
  • May 1993 – Faith No More – #3 on my most memorable concert list
  • March 2002 – Michael Franti & Spearhead – #2 on my most memorable concert list
  • March 2005 – Sarah McLachlan – love Sarah
  • March 2005 – Dave Matthews Band – well, it’s DMB!
  • December 17 2005 – The Wiggles – a new era dawns

What’s wrong with this picture?

Yes, that’s right, today I felt like a complete parent. Today, I went and watched The Wiggles live on stage at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.

I think you remember the concerts that you go to for two reasons; The time (or era) in your life that you went to them and the people you went with. I just never thought I’d see the day that I’d go to a concert at 10:00am and would be taking a 23 and <1 month old.

Not to mention the smell of pot, free lovin’ and general debauchery as far as the eye could see.
