Now don’t it just warm ya heart?

From FORTUNE Magazine:

Warren Buffett gives away his fortune – FORTUNE EXCLUSIVE: The world’s second richest man – who’s now worth $44 billion – tells editor-at-large Carol Loomis he will start giving away 85% of his wealth in July – most of it to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Surely, that’s gotta make Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation one of, if not the, biggest philanthropy efforts of all time.

I wonder how all of these guys fair, in terms of percentage given, to the great philanthropists such as John D. Rockefeller and Andrew Carnegie?

And on a side note, to no surprise, at number 10 on the list, the least amount of giving as a percentage of net worth . . . evil, tight-ass retailers!

    Apparently, this donation surpasses those of Rocky & Carnigie (according to the ABC 7pm news)

    Was that adjusted for todays rates or based on percentage of wealth?
