Blogmusik streaming (copyright protected) music, on demand

Just discovered a site called Blogmusik.

It basically allows you to search a catalog of music and play tracks on demand.

Not much more to say on it other than to echo the words of Michael Arrington from Techcrunch “Check out Blogmusik Before It’s Pulled off the Internet“.

It does seem to have some parallels with YouTube though. They only stream content provided by users so it may be just as vulnerable as YouTube, or even worse, the other way around.

    Hello DelicateGenius

I saw your post on BlogMusic and wanted to invite you to check out http://www.sonific.com – as opposed to radioblogclub, tunefeed and blogmusik etc (at least by what I can tell at this time) we actually license our music and legally obtain permissions from the artists and record labels, and therefore our SongSpots can be used anywhere, for free, and legally. And we are building our library up very quickly, as well! Thanks, Gerd Leonhard http://www.sonific.com and http://www.bloggermusic.com and http://www.sonificmusic.com.

I couldn’t get the link to load, you don’t suppose they have pulled it off already?
