DG.TV: AiR

So, the reason Shane and I were in Redmond/Seattle all week was AiR (Artists in Residence), an intensive 5 day silverlight training course. Shane had the great idea to capture our experiences and learnings.

Silverlight is sooooo awsome… ever single video Silverlight video here has audio sync issues.

Reminds of Flash 5 years ago. I guess I’ll give it another look in about… 5 years.

Until then can you please provide the videos in Flash so I can actually watch them. Can’t say it’s fun to watch an out of sync video.

    Hey there tom.

You’re the first to complain obout the audio being out of sync. What’s your setup? OS/CPU/Browser?

    OS: Mac OS 10.5.2
Browser: Same problem in both Safari 3.0.4 and Firefox 2.0.0.2

If I skip to video to a later point in the timeline it briefly re-sync by then immediately starts drifting out again.

No problem with audio/ video sync in those browsers using either WMF (via Flip4Mac), Flash or Quicktime.
