Steve Ballmer is in town Nov 6, wanna come?

image

For those that didn’t know, It’s confirmed, Steve Ballmer is going to be in town on November 6 and we’re putting together a special event. Deets over on http://www.microsoft.com/australia/powertodevelopers/. Think of it as an audience with Steve Ballmer.

So, the score is this. We’ve got SteveB talking about our developer vision (especially around S+S) – this is not to be missed. Following Steve, we’re going to be joined by Gianpaolo Carraro and Tim Sneath.

Gianpaolo will go into more depth around the services component. He is an expert on the topic and will be hot off PDC announcements. Having met him, I can attest that he is in fact an all round smart guy who has much insight on the topic of cloud computing.

If you don’t know Tim, then you should be ashamed of yourself. Tim is the uber windows client (WPF, Vista, Silverlight etc) evangelism lead at Microsoft. He’ll be going into more depth around the software component.

Finally, the event is invite only and numbers are limited. If you want to be there, drop a comment or send me an email.

If you can’t make it on the day, we also plan to stream the event live. Again, all the info over at http://www.microsoft.com/australia/powertodevelopers/
