MINI Augmented Reality Ad (in reality)
Came across this amazing ad by MINI in Germany. The ad appeared in select German auto magazines, you them come to the MINI site, hold the magazine up to your webcam and boom, an augmented reality MINI.
The uber cool thing about it is, you can try it for yourself. Mosey on over to the MINI site, download the PDF, print it, install the plugin and prepare to be in augmented wonderland. Look ma, no hands.
Augmented Reality was one of the topics which I covered in my AIMIA Future of Digital 2009 talk. Seems it’s less future than I thought.
